The shores of Wanda Lake were full of Sierra Yellow-Legged Frogs (Rana sierrae).  Rana sierrae and it's brother R. muscosa are a declining.  There may be only a few thousand individuals of the two left in the world.  R. sierrae was formally listed as endangered in 2014.  Here, they abound.
