Garrya elliptica (coast silk tassel). Probably. G. fremontii is not impossible but is much less common in this area. This shot, in an odd semi-shady light, required considerable color adjustment to look realistic. I also reduced the brightness and smoothed to reduce oversharpening. Cropped.
