Allotropa virgata (sugarstick). This is the only member of the Allotropa genus. Same family (Ericaceae) and sub-family (Monotropoideae), but NOT the same tribe, as the more familiar snow plants (Sarcodes sanguinea) and pine drops (Pterospora andromedea).
