Polystichum munitum (western sword fern). 'Tis the season to make new fronds.
Polystichum munitum (western sword fern), unfurling new frond. Most don't have this round a curl, but, rather, are more folded as in the previous picture.
Sanicula crassicaulis (Pacific sanicle). Nothing exotic, just a really good view of the the leaves and flower.
Sanicula crassicaulis (Pacific sanicle). The lower leaves were a little more characteristically broad ... and characteristically chewed.
