June 6 - 10, 2021.    Far Northern California.    A four day / three night in-and-out up Canyon Creek, with visits to the Canyon Creek Lakes and the Boulder Lakes Basin. A new hiking partner for this trip: Lisa Bowers. I met her in a local hiking group. Since the trailhead is at relatively low elevation, about 3000', we were able to start right in after the 5+ hour drive up. Nights at The Sinks, the lower Canyon Creek Lake, and near the Boulder Lakes Trail stream crossing at the bottom of the climb into the basin. I've been up to the Canyon Creek Lakes before, but it was in 2004. (It was one of the very few backpacks during my 1994-2005 backpacking interregnum.)
