A few wildflowers of the area. Solidago sp. (goldenrod), possibly S. altissima, although I don't have a full picture of the ins-and-outs of the eastern Solidago species. This was everywhere (along with Queen Anne's lace, yellow coneflower, and Joe Pye weed).

Impatiens capensis (orange jewelweed). Unlike some of the others, I saw this in only a few scattered spots as we drove around over the last three days. Lovely and native here in western Pennsylvania.
